Of course she was dreaming! The dark, blank space surrounding her could only be her imagination. Though she wished the stars above her didn't have to be. It almost felt like she could see all of them! Like a sky before man had dulled the stars' light.
She sensed the presence immediately, even looking up and averted her eyes to see a man standing quite a few paces away from her. He watched her, the smirk on his face confident and full of secrets she was sure she'd never hear. That smile..she was sure it would infuriate her on anyone else. On him, it made her want to be closer. He took a step forward, still smiling like the world was his.
He approached her slowly and circled where she stood. Her heartbeat took off without fail. If she had thought him something from far off, it was nothing to how she saw him right now. He stopped in front of her, grinning. And he was definitely no more than two years older than her!
